I'm a writer and researcher focused on how social media, AI, and other emerging technologies are reshaping democracy and civic life. I like digging into survey data and policy debates and translating what I find into clear, accessible stories that surface meaningful trends and help inform better policy and communication strategies.

Most recently, I worked at the American Academy of Arts & Sciences on a national initiative to strengthen American democracy. In addition to this blog, my work on democracy and tech policy has appeared in Tech Policy Press, the German Marshall Fund, Project for Civic Health, and The Morningside Post.
